Blurb

Get ready for "non-stop vampire action" (Darque Reviews) in the latest Morganville Vampire novel from New York Times bestselling author Rachel Caine.

While developing a new system to maintain Morganville's defenses, student Claire Danvers discovers a way to amplify vampire mental powers. Through this, she's able to re-establish the field around this vampire-infested Texas college town that protects it from outsiders.

But the new upgrades have an unexpected consequence: people inside the town begin to slowly forget who they are-even the vampires. Soon, the town's little memory problem has turned into a full-on epidemic. Now Claire needs to figure out a way to pull the plug on her experiment- before she forgets how to save Morganville...

 Review

So far I've devoured nine (9) books in this series and cannot get enough!  Claire has her work cut out for her, a very strong heroine and yet still has moments of weakness.  No doubt about it I believe we all do from time to time.

From time to time Claire tends to get a wild idea up her sleeve and when she does she cannot help but to follow through and see what happens.  In this case Morganville needs a new program to protect the insiders from the outsiders and the outsiders from the insiders.  There's no doubt about it, Claire's going to do it.

After a while Claire gets a bad feeling about the new up and running program.  Weird things start to happen in Morganville and it's up to her to fix it.  She's not sure what she could have possibly done wrong but from the looks of it she might be the only one left to make things right.

This is a series I will definitely be coming back to re-read later on down the road.  Suspense in every book, awesome plots and characters.  There is no turning back once you get into this series.
