Rock My Body by Michelle A. Valentine New Release, Giveaway and Review

 Rock My Body
by Michelle A. Valentine

Rock My Body is the fourth and final book in the Black Falcon series and focuses on the Black Falcon bassist, Tyke Douglas.

Tyke Douglas is tired of being the glue that holds the hottest band in the world together. If the rest of the guys are out doing their own thing, then why shouldn’t he? He’s about to turn things up a notch and bring a whole new level of crazy into Black Falcon’s world.
Francine Mead is putting her sordid past behind her and is determined to help others overcome their demons alongside her. The first step in her new life is taking a job as an addiction counselor, where she can mentor others through their struggles. Francine never expected to be lured back into temptation when her first sexy celebrity client, Tyke Douglas walks through her door. The moment she lays eyes on him, she’s in trouble.
Both Tyke and Francine know a relationship between them would be a disaster, but with each session, things continue to heat up, making it impossible to deny the connection they share. Boundaries cross, attractions heighten and both of their willpower's will be tested to the very limit.

Our author Michelle Valentine has saved the best for last. This is the grand finale to the rocking series about Black Falcon and she has chosen to deal with Tyke, the Bassist and most recalcitrant rocker in the group.

Tyke's entire life was dedicated to making music and sharing this experience with his twin brother Trip and the rest of the band - Riff and Noel. The friendship and bond between these guys was what gave his the extra kick of adrenalin and gave him this highest of highs. That perfect moment when they are playing and their sounds converge creates an energy that embraces not only the band members but also the audience listening to them. That is the perfect moment that Tyke live for. If you take that away or change it, what does Tyke have left?

Now that all the guys have their love lives settled, Tyke is lost, and so his spiraling begins with sex, alcohol and drugs. Rehab only becomes an option when losing the band is his other only option.

Tyke meeting his addiction counselor Frannie not only shakes him up because of his addiction, but also because the immediate impact she has on his libido. As he travels the rough road of detox, Frannie becomes the one person he can count on to understand him. The love affair that ensues is worth reading not only because of the titillating interactions, but because of the depth of feeling and psychological cleansing that occurs.

I have loved this series since its inception. Every one of these guys has had a memorable story searching for their place in life and the one person to love and nurture them. Tyke was always the toughest one to tackle because of his complex personality and depth of feeling. He is the heart of the band as well as its conscience. If he is lost, Black Falcon cannot survive. His journey to being "clean" is a heart wrenching trip you will not soon forget.
