Series Description:

Gianni Rinaldi was introduced in the Touched By You series, the endearing romance of Tanner and Natalie.

Gianni was the owner of GR Showroom, and showcased Natalie’s fashions. He was a source of jealousy for Tanner, although his relationship with Natalie was strictly professional in the Touched By You series. But he was deeply involved in his own romance, which you can now read about in “Leah’s Seduction.”

The story unfolds over a series of novellas. Each is an episode in the ongoing tale of seduction into the secrets of the fashion industry, and the temptations of love.

Glimpses of Gianni’s billionaire lifestyle are revealed. And the more Leah’s understands, the more she loves him. He becomes controlling in new ways, and the intensity causes their passion to blaze to life. When Gianni takes Leah to meet his family for Thanksgiving, he fears he has given the wrong impression. Quickly, he regains control, but the heated scene that follows begins to crumble the walls around Gianni’s heart.

Blurb:

Gianni is emotionally distant, despite his vow to try and open his heart. Yet his craving for Leah only increases. If he lets it go further, Gianni will be forced to reveal secrets that could tear them apart. How long can he wait? Will he tell her the truth?

Leah is swept up in the power of her love for Gianni, but she knows he is holding something back. As much as she wants to please him, there are limits. And when Gianni pushes her too far, she fights back. Yet she knows there is a dark secret that torments him. Can she persuade him to tell? Or will the past be their undoing?

Leah writes:

“Gianni says he is greedy, but I am just as greedy as he. The intimate scenes are not enough for me. I want the heart of the man who gives me such immense pleasure.

I want to hear the words. I long for the day when Gianni tells me that he loves me. Sometimes I think maybe he does, but cannot admit it. Why that is, I’m not sure. Over the weekend I was tempted to pry the past from him. There is something he holds close to the chest, something he has not yet shared. I think it has to do with a woman. That’s my intuition about it. And I want to ask, but I don’t think he is quite ready to tell me.”

Gianni, Gianni... you are still a mystery to me!

I know he promised Leah to try and open up more... but I don't think he meant to open up too much. I think he is just going to be careful and not involve his emotions, no matter what.

Leah is so totally over the moon for him... I am concerned for her. Have you ever loved someone so much it hurts? What happened when you realized he was not totally all in for you? Maybe he was just an "at arms length" kind of guy? Those are some of the regrets of our youth, right? In this case, though, we have two mature individuals. Gianni just needs to open up and I cannot figure out how our author is going trigger that.

And what is going on with that locked room he has? I cannot believe it is a playroom... but, who knows? What do you think? Could it possibly be a room dedicated as a shrine to a long lost lover?

Their love affair is heating up to scorching hot now. He has now shown her the "delights" of tying her up. Her hands, her feet... in true BDSM style she is now totally immersed in their power exchange play. I also think he has feelings for her but won't admit this even to himself.

Wait until you read this installment of Leah's Seduction! You will melt and want to shake Gianni at the same time!

Lust (The Devil & The Diamond #2) by Bonnie Bliss | Release Blitz and Giveaway

Lust

(The Devil & The Diamond #2)

by Bonnie Bliss

Elizabeth has finally escaped from Asmodeus. Safely tucked away in a small seaside village in Italy, she finds peace and maybe a little bit of heat with Jared. Her seeming savior, he not only got her somewhere safe, but the connection, heat, and desire he inspires in her is undeniable.

But one little slip up.

And the devil finds his diamond again.

From a secluded hideaway, locked in the devil’s arms, to the busy streets of Paris, France. The devil is no longer playing in her dreams, but with her very real, hot-blooded desires. Elizabeth quickly comes to realize that she may never escape the beast, and that her only option could be to give in, or die trying to save her soul… and heart.

*This book contains controversial subject matter that may be objectionable to some readers.*

If I die before I wake, pray the Lord my soul to take.
That single sentence kept running on a loop in her brain. She didn’t know why. Even growing up, her faith was iffy at best. Elizabeth struggled now even more. The facts remained. If there was a devil, then there was a God.
     There had to be.
     Right?
Her fingers tightened on the steering wheel as she pushed that last quarter mile into the town she was to meet Jared. The only person on her side in this whole sordid mess. At first Elizabeth was going to stop, but things had changed after she saw the devil in his true form. Her brain couldn’t reconcile the monster that had threatened her with the handsome man that threatened her. Somehow, it seemed less real, and easier to survive this bullshit if he was just that handsome man.   The monster was harder to stomach and it felt like a daunting task to escape him.
It was going on the seven-hour mark. Elizabeth had stopped for gas twice, and ate a small bag of chips. This was slowly catching up to her as she nudged the gas pedal to the floor. The road turned from concrete to dirty the closer she got to the small seaside town of Polignano a Mare. Her heart started to pound faster and her knuckles were white as she clenched the wheel. Elizabeth could see the small turnout. She jerked the wheel to the right and the back of the car fishtailed as she kept up her speed and pushed forward. The car quickly righted itself and she released an ugly, loud sob of relief as the quaint two-story building came into view.
It looked like a simple modest home. Its outside walls were a light tan with dark markings that looked like water damage. The grape vines climbed up to the second story windows. They all looked as if they were open. It appeared the home was on a large, expansive property. Miles of grape vines spread out up a hill behind the home and overlooked the glittering blue blanket of liquid paradise to her right.
Elizabeth couldn’t even enjoy the view. Her vision was blurred from her sudden rush of tears. She'd held back the whole way, distracting herself with the one focus.
     Get to Jared.
She unclenched her fingers from the steering wheel and slammed her palm against the horn. The loud wail brought forth two monks that seemed to be racing from the back with another person. Elizabeth fought for breath and vision and she saw a young man, around her age come running for the car from the back of the home.
Without further thought, she slammed both her feet on the brakes. The seatbelt locked and momentarily knocked the wind from her. The car pitched sideways and slid until it finally stopped. Elizabeth couldn’t move. Her body seemed to take on a tremor as her forehead pressed against the wheel and she allowed the ugly tears to flow with abandon. She figured she had refrained from breaking down this long, why not have a good cry?
A mixture of relief and sadness poured through her soul and out of her tearducts. She knew deep down that this was only a reprieve. Like he said, he would find her again. She couldn’t hide. Elizabeth simply delayed the inevitable.
The driver door being jerked open distracted her internal musings. She heard panting breaths. Her own and someone else’s. Out of the corner of her eye, she spied the young man crouching next to her. A tentative hand reached out and rested on her knee.
“Bethy?” The masculine whisper held a note of promise that brought her head up and her gaze over to his.
For that moment she stopped breathing. In this minute of despair she felt the corner of her lips curve up at the devastating man gazing back at her with a look of such heart-pounding concern she could die now and know that someone gave a shit.
     “Jared,” she sobbed.
Half of his lips quirked up and she released a highly unattractive laugh/sob. Elizabeth’s chest heaved as the odd spasm took over and her trembling fingers reached for the belt.
“Here, I got it,” he whispered.
     He was perfect.
     Beautiful.
He was all man, with longish dark hair that reached his shoulders. The natural waves throughout made him look like he was from a different time. His deep brown eyes were like black pools that reflected her own pain, yet had a hint of playfulness. His jaw was speckled in a few days’ worth of growth. His face, oh that handsome face. He wasn’t chiseled like Asmodeus; no, he was natural, unblemished. His jaw was strong and wide. A boyish charm glowed from him that made her wish for a life she would never have. A life that was easy, where she could date men like him. Where men like him could even break her heart. The white t-shirt he wore hid nothing. He was broad, with muscles that rippled as he reached over her body and released the seat belt.
Jared carefully reached in, sliding an arm under her knees and behind her back, pulling her from the car. She felt all that strength--sinews, muscles, and power--as he tugged her against his chest. Elizabeth nuzzled against his neck and allowed his warm and fresh scent to consume her. She memorised him in that moment. He smelled like fresh air, sweat, and man. He didn’t coat himself in anything fake. He was just--Jared.
Her fingers fisted the front of his shirt and she heard him chuckle.
“Happy to see me, Bethy?” His laughter pierced her heart and she wished with all that she was that she could have him.
Elizabeth knew in that moment. Her heart wouldn’t be allowed his. She couldn’t doom him to this life. She would stay out the month, figure out a way to break this bullshit debt, and give him his life back.
     “You have no idea.”

With that she snuggled in closer as he took her into the home.

Rock Courtship (book 1.5) A Rock Kiss Novel: David & Thea’s Story by Nalini Singh | New Release, Giveaway & Review

Rock Courtship (book 1.5)
A Rock Kiss Novel: David & Thea’s Story
by Nalini Singh
 RELEASING ON SEPTEMBER 30TH

What happens when the Gentleman of Rock decides to play dirty?
A drummer for the hottest rock band on the planet, David has a single, powerful weakness: Thea, the band’s publicist and the woman who steals his breath away with her every move.
Only problem is, Thea doesn’t date clients—or musicians. Emotionally scarred by a cheating ex, she’s not about to risk her heart with a man who has groupies buzzing around him like flies. Even if his sexy smile ties her up in knots.
What she doesn’t know is that David is a one-woman man...and he’s madly in love with her. David’s determined to prove he’s worth the risk, and willing to court her, step by exquisite step. Thea’s about to discover just how long and hard this handsome drummer can play.

“Beer—whatever you have on tap,” David said to the grizzled bartender and grabbed a stool, his eye on the rugby game in progress on the TV screen bolted above the bar.

He’d hardly taken a sip of his beer, the dark liquid bitingly cold, when he felt a presence at his back. Instincts honed by a childhood in one of the toughest areas of New York had him focusing on the mirror behind the bar to check out the situation before he turned. A big, bald, and heavily muscled male with a spiderweb tattoo on his neck was standing behind and just to the side of David, a smirk on his pockmarked face.

Belly heating, David turned with a slight smile. “Problem?”

The bald man bared his teeth and, laughing, looked to a table to his right. “Hear that, boys?” he called out to his friends. “The pussy rock star here wants to know if there’s a problem.”

Laughter and shouts from that particular table, while the rest of the men in the bar went quiet. David didn’t move, taking a measure of the players without letting it show. “Always know your opponent” had been one of the first things his father had taught him—Vicente Rivera didn’t believe in turning the other cheek; he believed in teaching his sons how to put bullies on the ground and keep them there.

“Yeah, there’s a problem,” the bald guy said, shoving at David’s shoulder. “This is a real bar for real men. Not pussies.”

Like that, then. Good. He was in the mood to do some violence. Lifting his beer, David took a long drink, then slammed it down… and punched Bald Head in the jaw at the same time that he kicked out with his foot to connect with the other man’s knee. The jackass went down like a ton of bricks.

Roaring in rage, the man’s friends came at David.

He grinned and started to show them what this “pussy rock star” could do.

It wasn’t until they’d broken a table and several chairs, and the bartender had called the cops that David realized Thea would have to deal with the fallout from this. Fuck, fuck, fuck, he thought as he was shoved into a cell alone, his erstwhile opponents in the cell opposite. Sliding down the graffiti-marked wall to the floor, he thought about the phone call the desk sergeant had said he could make and decided against it.

Fox had Molly with him—the band’s lead singer had been waiting for his girl to arrive since the instant Schoolboy Choir set foot in the city. As for Noah and Abe, they both had their own plans. He knew any one of the three men would drop those plans in an instant to come to his aid, but since the cops had made it clear he’d be spending the night in a cell no matter what, why mess up their plans?

“You do or say anything that’ll hit the media, you call me. Day or night. I hate surprises—so don’t you dare surprise me.”

Thea had given that order to all four of them when she’d agreed to act as their publicist. Her up-front nature and dedication to her job was part of the reason they’d hired her; Thea was the best and she didn’t take any shit from her clients. He wasn’t doing himself any favors by not calling her.

Right then, David couldn’t find it in himself to care. It wasn’t as if she could hurt him any more than she already had. And Jesus, how long was he going to carry this torch that was burning him alive? “Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he said aloud, banging the back of his head against the wall.

A bad boy wrapped in a sexy, muscled, grown-up package might be worth a little risk…

Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch that could become an addiction.

A one-night stand with the hottest rock star on the planet, that’s all it was meant to be…

Fox promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that, he’ll be gone forever, his life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence, all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late, Molly realizes it isn’t only her body that’s become addicted to Fox, but her heart…
Still currents run deep... yep, that is David.  He is the quiet one.  Dresses conservatively in a suit and button down shirt, never causes a raucous, never goes for the groupies.  He is the conscience and foundation the band.  He keeps the peace when tempers flare and bonds the other members when things go South.

But David is not himself.  He is smitten and is desperately in love with Thea.  As we know, Thea is Molly's sister.  She shares a common father with Molly, in addition to the abhorrence of ever ending up with someone like her biological father.  She has also been betrayed by her fiancee and is not ready to trust any man.

I was amused by David's courtship of Thea.  At the suggestion of Molly, he wrote a memo to Thea and emailed it to her.  Not knowing how to write a memo, he researched formats and fine tuned his memo to both intrigue her and seduce her.  For a musician who is not only good at drums and guitars, he is also a man who has superior oral skills, in more ways than one.  This courtship is HOT, with a slow burn due to distance.  I loved how they bonded over emails, text, skype and phone calls.  This is a love affair to top all others.

In the end, their relationship has to built on trust as well as their mutual lust.  They both must learn to work together to surmount the obstacles that fame and money will throw their way.

This is an absolutely delightful read.
