Review | Glass Houses (Morganville Vampires, Book 1) by Rachel Caine

Blurb

From the author of the popular Weather Warden series. Welcome to Morganville, Texas.

Just don't stay out after dark.

College freshman Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation, where the popular girls never let her forget just where she ranks in the school's social scene: somewhere less than zero.

When Claire heads off-campus, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be much better. Her new roommates don't show many signs of life. But they'll have Claire's back when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood.

 Review

This book was amazingly well written. I was able to get a feel for the characters easily. Fall into the story quickly and loved every minute of it. I couldn't help loving Claire as being the new girl in a town full of Vampires. It didn't take me long to finish this story because I could not bring myself to put it down.

As I was reading I kept trying to compare to other book series' involving vampires and could not, as there is nothing like it that I have previously read. I wanted to say House of Night, then I wanted to say Vampire Diaries even Vampire Academy but none come close to Rachel Caine's unique writing, characters and plot. I loved this book, the plot and the characters.   I would recommend this book to anyone that loves vampires and the YA Paranormal genre!

I fell for Michael in this book... I can't wait to see what happens next!
