Everything sounds good in theory!  Wes has a successful column online where he gives advice and sets the rules for all men wanting to be like"the modern gentleman".  From how to dress, talk, and approach a girl, all is covered.

Having his boss assign him an experiment to apply his rules for real is the last thing he needs.  And so begins our book, as Wes tries to hook up with a girl and entice her into a relationship following his rules.  Funny does not begin to describe all he goes through.  June is the quirkiest girl.  Between her quirks and his rules, Wes does not stand a chance.
