The plotline is divine. This book is complex. Layers on layers of emotions. What can I say... I LOVED IT!
Gabriela is the thorn at his father's side. Once you get to know her, you will side with her. Her father is a monster! All she is doing is trying to escape the inevitable destiny that her father has chosen for her to no avail.
As she is once again caught, she comes back home to find out a new arranged marriage has been agreed to. One problem. The man she is now supposed to marry is the mysterious man who surprised her in her bedroom on her sixteenth birthday. He only had a message for her father, but the impression he made on her, left her trembling in fear. This was in addition to the scent he had about him... the scent of DEATH.
As Gabriela prepares to marry Stefan, she continues to wonder if she has gone from the frying pan into the fire. She is still fighting for her own freedom. Life with her soon to be husband in Sicily is definitely not better than what she had with her father. Or is it?
