"What do you get when you cross a breast cancer survivor with a sexy, mature man…."
You get a gem of a story!

Edie Williams is celebrating being cancer free with her grown children in Hawaii.  It is a bittersweet celebration as she ponders her life, her recent divorce, her fight with breast cancer, and her impending empty nest.  Her daughter is about to graduate from high school and go off to college.  Her son is 22 years old and on his way to becoming a minor league baseball player.  What will her own future hold for her?

Meeting the manager of the rock band Collision was a thunderbolt moment for Edie.  You know how it feels... jaw drops, cannot take a breath, your mind goes blank, and you feel tingles all over your body.  Their story is one of opposites attracting each other and finding a common ground they never imagined existed.

I have read every book this author has published.  I can honestly say this book is my favorite.  This is a story of very real people falling in love while dealing with all the baggage folks over forty really carry.  Both have experienced love, loss, betrayal, and grown weary of letting their feelings free.  Tommy is a bigger than life character, semi-retired ex-rock star, and his charisma is a winner.  His attitude and free-spirited banter draw Edie from the shadow she has been living most of her life under.  He teaches her how to spread her wings and dream again.   All I have been asking myself is - does he have any brothers?

I am voluntarily reviewing this book.  I thank the author for sharing a copy with me.
