Synopsis:

Ever wanted to fast forward to your happily ever after?
My name is Mackenzie Locke and I’m a loveaholic. I haven’t got a handle on men. Not even a little bit.
So I staged an intervention and booked me and my two best friends into Love Rehab, complete with a love shaman, horse therapy and a bunch of stones that promise to change my life. I’m not leaving until I’m cured.
Lesson #1: the first night of your stay, don’t have a one night stand with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen in your life.
Fail.
Lesson #2: make sure your one night stand isn’t planning on sticking around, teasing you, tempting you right back into his Levis.
Big Fail.
Lesson #3: Whoops. I forgot this one. I was too busy daydreaming about Blake McKenna’s mouth on mine and the way his five o’clock shadow feels on my thighs.
Epic Fail.
So maybe I’m not the best student. Maybe I wasted my time and money on Love Rehab. But I can’t help that I want to spend every minute with Blake, naked under the stars. Perhaps he can teach me every lesson I ever needed to learn.

This book was so much more than what I expected! I thought I would be reading about a woman in search with the magic transformation so she could finally snag a guy who would stick around long enough to make it to the altar. Well, it was that and so much more.

This "retreat" where MacKenzie and her two BFF's go to is meant to be a cleansing of old habits and a personal realization of what the truth in their lives might be. Taking this journey with MacKenzie, I found this book to have an unexpected depth. How many of us are willing to admit we lived part of our lives not asking for what we needed or wanted? Instead, we did not stay true to our souls and adapted ourselves, negated our needs, and just went along with whatever our partner wanted just to keep the peace and a happy marriage. Is this why so many marriages fall apart after the children are grown, or even before then? How many of us wake up one morning and take a good look at the person beside us, only to realize we have married a stranger?

Luckily for MacKenzie, being dumped at the altar allows her to find her true center before any damage is done to her life. You must read this book with its fabulous humor, the gut-wrenching truths, and the soaring of the souls who finally find their path and have the courage to pursue it.

About the Author:

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels - the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful and Hopeful and the novella series' The Empire State Series, What the Lightning Sees and Calling Me. The novels and together the series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters. Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films. Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn't have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne. She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
