As a reader, I wait for the moment when a crack in the iceberg that encloses his heart - all this caused by the guilt he feels at his inability to have saved his mom- will finally allow Jacob to share his feelings with Vivienne.
The heat is on in the bedroom, though. These two characters never seize to amaze in their ability to surprise and titillate as they share a level of intimacy that we can only hope eventually will win over all of Jacob's hangups.
