That’s me. Or it was. Ten years I wandered through life. Through ten towns. Through ten men. Then, I didn’t anymore. A hellacious storm came and ripped everything away, leaving me stripped bare for the most beautiful man. A man part of the Corrupt Chaos Motorcycle club, who not only saved my life but rescued my soul. Or so it may seem from the outside. On the inside, it’s not that simple. Life never is.
It’s dirty.
It’s ugly.
And it’s painstakingly relentless.

Be still my heart! This is a powerful story of surviving loss of loved ones, scratching your way to continue living, and seeking a new beginning. It is not your typical MC novel, although we are reading about one motorcycle club and its members coming to the rescue of our main character Magdalene.
Having survived a tornado at a gas station while at the same time saving the owner's life, Mags fights for life. She literary is bleeding to death, by shear luck a fireman happens to drive by and act to assertively find and rescue the survivors. Literally plugging a hole in her with his finger to prevent her from bleeding out, Lachlan is immediately attracted to the beauty in his arms. There is something special about her and he cannot help but feel drawn to her.
If you love romance with a bit a of the wild side added; if you love complex characters; and if you love to read about characters who develop inner strength to survive when all appears to be lost, you will enjoy this book immensely.
I have now read everything this author has published. She has now grown into a savvy storyteller, telling stories that will stay with me for a long time. (Keep tissues close at hand!)
Author Bink Cummings was born and raised part of an MC family. Upon the incessant coercion from her sacred sisters, she has begun her newest journey in life--writing. When she's not shacked up in her home, writing at all hours of the night, Bink enjoys riding motorcycles, taking care of her extensive roughneck family, and cooking huge meals. Especially her infamous chocolate chip cookies.
