How did I become a Jett Girl?
Hell if I know, one moment I’m working at the premiere spot for creepy men and sloppy drunks and the next, I’m being whisked away by a moody ex-boxer and a mysterious man in a suit that overlooks his girls from the third floor of the Lafayette Club.
It wasn’t easy but now that I’m a Jett Girl, there is only one thing on my mind and that is Jett Colby.

Because of this, there is only one thing standing in my way when it comes to completely and utterly living my life with Jett Colby and it’s called Lot 17.

Now that Goldie is working at Jett's Club, she is happy, protected, and immensely grateful that her life has finally turned for the best. Her feelings for Jett continue to grow, and even though she knows he is not a man to do relationships, she feels encouraged as to how close they have both become.
Being a Jett Girl means dedication. She practices the presentations, works out, and continues to try and become irreplaceable to Jett. Her devotion to him knows no bounds.
Jett's life continues to shadowed by the evil his father always brings along with him. The fact that Jett uses his wealth to improve the community just makes his father think he is a wuzz. Leo (Jett's father) cannot conceive doing anything that does not benefit himself with more power and money. Jett's efforts to provide a park for the Girls and Boys Club of New Orleans is nothing but an obstacle to him, now that he has decided he wants the same piece of land Jett is bidding on, so he can build another modern monstrosity in the middle of the historical buildings of downtown New Orleans. Leo will stop at nothing to get his way... and that includes hurting Goldie. He figures this is how he will control and hurt Jett into submission and backing off from acquiring that piece of land he wants.
Goldie is caught in the middle of a power struggle. Her love affair with Jett is at a cross roads.
This complex story continues to delight. All I can say is that it is keeps you guessing what will she come up next. The third book may be coming as soon as May 2015? I can hardly wait to see how Goldie handles all these evil men and helps Jett. I hope they do end up together!
