We have all read stories of opposites that are attracted to each other. What sets off this chemistry of opposites is a wonder sometimes.
In our story, we have Lita who loves the limelight, is a journalist and knows how to put the right spin on the news. She thrives in this attention and blossoms.
Rocky, our drummer for the band The Rift, is the total opposite. He has lived his life being as invisible as possible. He is a drummer because the music calls to him and the power of drumming helps silence his demons. He likes peace and quiet, the solitude of his cabin in Montana, and absolutely hates the press. He is a man of few words and none of them are for publicity.
These unlikely lovers have a history to them. Four years ago they met in Mexico by chance. They were both looking for an escape and agreed to no names, just fun in the sun. But after three days of rumpling the sheets, when Rocky discovered Lita was a journalist, he kicked her out and she took her revenge on him using the press.
Now they have to spend a week together during the final preparations before their best friends' wedding and the sparks will fly. These two cannot be in the same room without a war being declared.
Well written and with some of the most sensual banter I have read in a while, this is a heart warming love story to entertain. Now if I could only find a flesh and blood drummer like Rocky all would be complete!
