Addie and Daimon keep trying to move on in this warped relationship they have agreed to. Daimon is so mercurial. It is hard to grasp exactly what he is really made of. His mood changes are tough and quite extreme. This is a very tortured soul and it appears that Addie with her kind heart and calm approach is the only one that can understand him.

There are quiet a few surprises in this second installment of this trilogy. They help to uncover what is at the root of Daimon's dysfunction. I kept thinking while reading this there was no way Addie would ever allow her feelings for Daimon to grow. Once the secrets are revealed, how will she react?

Our author continues to share the ins and outs of this dysfunctional love/hate love affair with mastery. The story remains intriguing and like a voyeur I am hooked peeking at this couple's attempt to create a life together.

About the Autor

Evangelene was born and raised in Montreal Canada. She currently lives with her husband who at times drives her nuts. She has been studying Classical Civilization and Linguistics at Concordia University for over ten years. The pull of the ancient world was too great for her to let go, so she continues her education to feel closer to the world she identifies with. She reads nonstop, devouring books like its food, loving the feeling of being lost in a world that another author has created.
