Meeting Gabrielle under unusual circumstances changes all. They both have a rough start up with their "friendship", as Fate steps in one more time and brings them together. Word of warning: four blueberry mojitos made with plenty of rum is not the way to keep your wits about you! YUM! Ivan invites Gabrielle to "look at his priceless collection" and the rest is history.
I cannot help but gush about this book. Yes, I admit it, I am a fan of everything Raine Miller writes. As far as I am concerned, if she writes it, I am guaranteed an exceptional escape while reading her stories. Having adored Ethan Blackstone(Naked, Eyes, Wide Open, All In, Rare and Precious Things) and Neil McManus (Cherry Girl), I know Ivan Everly,Baron of Rothvale, is just going to steal all our hearts. The sex scenes are HOT and described in a tasteful prose. The emotions fly out of control and you are left panting and wondering ... where can I find my Ivan?
This is book #1 of The Rothvale Legacy. Book #2 My Lord (The Rothvale Legacy)is due out on October 24th so we will not have to wait very long. Me, I will be waiting to pre-order this next gem so I can continue my love affair with Ivan. ***SIGH!***
DARE TO LOVE by Carly Phillips

I am really hooked on these Dare men! This particular story is about Ian and Riley. As you have read in the synopsis, Ian is resentful of the fact his father betrayed his mother by cheating with another woman. Not only was he cheating, but he created a totally separate family unit with Savannah and had 3 children with her. Discovery of his father's new family only served to alienate Ian from the father he idolized and now Ian does not want to have anything to do with that second family.
Meeting Riley as his half-brother Alex brings her to a benefit ball, totally throws Ian off sync. Their immediate chemistry is "combustible" and felt by both. This is a love affair that will take finesse and patience since Ian swears by the one-night-stand rule and Riley is not into man-whores. What ensues is an emotional, gripping, and passionate stories I have read in a while.
Carly Phillips continues to amaze me with the versatility of her writing. Her stories are well written, straight forward, and full of passion. Her descriptions of the psychological impact our characters have on each other are so real you cannot help it but feel deeply for these characters.
