Annalise has been training to be a dancer since she was eight years old.  It is hard to follow in you mother's footsteps when she accomplished so much by the age of nineteen years old.  This is the life that has been chosen for Annalise... to become a famous ballerina and live up to her mother's expectations.

In the end, Annalise is just nineteen, and at this age, mature thinking begins to question whether this is the life she really wants to pursue.  It would take a lot of courage to stand up to her mother and choose otherwise.

This story is being published in a series.  This first part is a thrilling introduction to the life of a young woman on the brink of embracing her life and making her own choices.  This is a turning point in her life.  She has to decide where she will commit her efforts and what she is willing to give up for it.

As with anything written by Melody Grace, I was swept away with emotions and misgivings as Annalise shares with us the readers her most intimate thoughts.  As is the norm with our author's characters, it takes just a few strokes of her pen to entice us into the story and fall in love with her characters.  I am looking forward to finding out more about Raphael.  Believe me when I say that he is tall, dark and handsome I am not just describing the norm.  This man is hot and can move like a dream.  No surprises there... he is also a dancer with a different style from ballet.  He represents life, primal desire, and unrelenting need for more.  Ok, I will stop now... I am actually panting!
