Leah's Seduction Parts One, Two & Three
(A Rinaldi Romance)
by Emily Jane Trent
Releasing in Early September, 2014
“Leah’s Seduction” is a steamy romance between Gianni Rinaldi, a successful New York businessman, and Leah Ivers, a college graduate pursuing a career in marketing. They meet when their careers collide, and Gianni is intent on discovering if Leah is the author of a journal that has fallen into his hands. The pages are filled with handwritten confessions of a woman’s fantasies, and Gianni becomes obsessed with both the journal, and the woman he believes wrote it. The story unfolds over a series of novellas. Each is an episode in the ongoing tale of seduction into the secrets of the fashion industry, and the temptations of love.
Gianni Rinaldi was introduced in the Touched By You series, the endearing romance of Tanner and Natalie. He was the owner of GR Showroom, and showcased Natalie’s fashions. He was a source of jealousy for Tanner, although his relationship with Natalie was strictly professional. But he was deeply involved in his own romance, which you can now read about in “Leah’s Seduction.”
Leah’s Seduction – Books 1, 2, and 3
Wealthy entrepreneur, Gianni Rinaldi, meets a woman that doesn’t appear to be his type. He pursues her, thinking she might be the author of a journal he has become obsessed with. Leah Ivers is the woman he seduces. At first, his goal is to determine if she wrote the sexual fantasies in the diary. But the way Gianni and Leah respond to each other takes the relationship deeper, and both get more than they expect.
Gianni Rinaldi is one of the most eligible bachelors in the fashion scene in New York. By accident, a journal filled with a woman’s most intimate fantasies falls into his hands. He is driven to find the author of the sensual writings when he meets Leah, and suspects it might be her. The quest to discover if she is that woman unexpectedly turns into a sexual relationship that quickly spins out of control. Will the woman he wants submit to his terms?
Leah Ivers has landed a job as a marketing coordinator in one of the fashion showrooms of New York. Her passion bubbles to the surface when she meets Gianni at an industry event. Knowing she is not his type, Leah is surprised by his interest in her. Intimate encounters make it clear that he can satisfy her as no man has before. How much is she willing to give up, in order to have him?
“There was a connection between them. When he gazed at her, Leah transformed into a stunning beauty before his eyes. It was as though his look was the sunshine she required to thrive. Gianni had to get a grip. He couldn’t let all of this go to his head.
He needed to keep things in perspective, which was difficult. Because the way she had looked at him had affected him. Too much. And not in a way he’d anticipated, allowing just that little bit of control to slip through his fingers.
It was better to rein things in early. Before the situation slipped from his grasp. He wanted Leah again. And what he hoped to do with her hadn’t changed. As long as she didn’t start to expect more, it could work. But even as he thought it, Gianni was riddled with doubt.
No woman had affected him this way before. He should just walk away. He didn’t need this, and he had plenty of women to call on. Any urge he had, or could dream up, could be satisfied. So why deal with such complexities?”
Gianni and Leah deepen the relationship, even though both are fighting it for different reasons. Being together could be disastrous, both personally and for their careers. Yet the attraction is too strong for either to let go. An opportunity to travel to Amsterdam may bring them closer together.
Gianni is affected by Leah in a way he doesn’t expect. The way she responds to him pushes the limits of his control, and the relationship heats up. Can he keep his distance, or will her passion be his undoing?
Leah doesn’t want the dream to end. Being with Gianni has changed her, making her fear she’s in over her head. But she cannot turn away. Can she face the depth of her desire?
Not that she did. Her concern was about becoming dependent upon Gianni, when he had made no commitment to her. Nor did she expect him to. The thought of losing the intimacies she shared with him was too much to face. So she pushed it aside, and accepted the present for what it was. And for as long as it would last.”
While away in Amsterdam, the relationship heats up. Gianni stops being careful with Leah, and pushes past earlier limits. She becomes more attached to him, but he keeps his distance. When she challenges him, everything blows up, and Gianni has to make a decision. And Leah has to take a risk that will change her life.
Gianni won’t talk about his past, or any woman he has been with before. The reasons run deep. He maneuvers Leah so she won’t ask. More enthralled with her sexuality, Gianni takes bold steps to guide her deeper into his world. But can he give Leah what she really wants?
Leah hides her love from Gianni, trying to abide by his rules. But it is more difficult after a weekend away where she sees past his cold façade. She thinks her love is enough for both of them, until everything explodes. Will Gianni grant her demand? Can he?
“Wanting to be with him just might overshadow Leah’s life if she didn’t be careful. There had to be a limit. She couldn’t continue to give all if Gianni wouldn’t.
Giving him an ultimatum was out of the question. A man like Gianni wouldn’t respond to such a demand. He did what he wanted, and didn’t seem persuaded by what others wanted of him. Yet he showed that he cared about her in many ways.
Why couldn’t she be satisfied with his pampering of her? Dates with Gianni were the stuff of fairytales, and sex with him was straight out of her personal fantasies. Did she have to be so greedy, and demand love too?”
