Review & Re-Release / The Prophecy by Desiree DeOrto

*** WARNING***
Rated 17+ due to language and sexual content

The people of Shiloh, Virginia thought it was just a story. A legend to keep children from misbehaving. A challenge to prove you have courage. What they didn't know was that it was real. All of it was real.

When Starlette McKinley moved from the sparkling lights of LA to the sleepy town of Shiloh, she didn't know that she would be the catalyst. She didn't know that the rage and energy pulsing through her would be the key to unleashing an unsurmountable power that would either be the saving of mankind, or its destruction.

The blood will run, and the prophecy will be revealed. But will she be able to overcome the insurmountable odds? Or will she succumb to the energy within, welcoming the darkness that has become her only friend.

Why I am re-releasing The Prophecy:
All of my life, I've been told to 'do it right, or not at all.' I was extremely happy with The Prophecy, but it felt like there was just a little 'something' missing. It bugged the hell out of me, and after losing everything by becoming homeless, I dug within myself and not only found what was missing in me, but in the book too. So, we're re-releasing before the release of The Divine, Divinity Stone Book Two, in order to fix what was wrong, and make it completely right!

Review By

Love this book!!!!! I am really looking forward to book 2. Star is a confused and troubled girl but she is also strong and funny. It seemed like I was constantly laughing at something Star did or said. There is a good bit of mystery that is slowly unraveling and some bits of romance. It has a good build on the characters through out the book, you learn a little more on ever page. This book has language more suited for +16 readers. I am sure my 17y daughter would love to read it too.
