Good things never last. He did what I was supposed to do. Broke my already fragile heart all over again. Betrayed and alone I fled my home town and started a new life where I wasn’t in the shadow of what I did. Now he is back and trying to worm his way into my heart, again. Though he will never know it will always belong to him. He hurt me and I want nothing to do with him. Life has other plans. Doesn’t it always? He doesn’t know though. Doesn’t know what I’m hiding or who I’m hiding from. I never thought I would see Chance again and I’m afraid that he’ll get hurt getting mixed up in my mess. Though he is right in the middle of it, without even knowing it. I have to find a way for us to get out, before somebody dies. My name is Norma Jean and this isn’t a fairytale.

Q) As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
Interview Questions
A) I wanted to be a writer. I have always wanted to be a writer and its amazing to get to live that dream.
Q) Is there a message in your novel/novels that you want readers to grasp?
A) I try and put real life situations into my books. I want people to understand that life isn’t all butterflies and rainbows. Life is real and it can suck. But I also want people to understand that love can make it through anything.
Q) Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
A) Don’t go into any of my books and expect the story to be full of sunshine and roses. Yeah there will always be a happy ending but what comes between the beginning and end is ugly and its real.
Q) What were the challenges (research, literary, psychological, and logistical) in bringing your characters to life?
A) Names for one. Its hard to find names that no one else has used or will be using in a best seller. I want my characters to stand out with their names so people can remember them. It was also hard to write like I was male. I like most women don’t know what goes on in the male brain. That’s when I started asking my husband and male friends what they would do or say in some of the situations.
Q) Who is your favourite hero/heroine/character from your own books? What about of all time?
A) Norma Jean, no doubt. She is the most like me and she has gone through some of the same things I have. Plus she was super fun to write. Of all time would have to be Jericho Barrons from Karen Marie Monings fever series. He was so out of the norm for me and I couldn’t help but to fall madly in love with him.
