Prince Charming by CD Reiss
Release Date: January 4th, 2018
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Synopsis:
Keaton Bridge is exactly the kind of guy a straight-arrow like Cassie doesn’t need.
For one thing, he’s a criminal—and she fights crime for a living. And being criminally handsome isn’t helping her say no, either. Everything about him screams trouble, from his British accent to his mysterious past.
And Cassie doesn’t do trouble.
Keaton’s got his own trouble. He’s trying to go legit, and an FBI agent hanging around is the last thing that will help his credibility. All it took was one night of passion to sear her into his skin. Now he can’t imagine living happily ever after without her.
All they have to do is walk away.
But neither of them ever walks away from danger.

4.5 out of 5 Stars
Is Keaton a criminal? Is he just a super hacker? How can Cassie trust anything he says when everything about him is cloaked in mystery!
I absolutely loved this story. It continues to tie in the characters we fell in love with in KING OF CODE and we become really invested in the lives of the people of this town.
Cassie is such a surprise as a character. She is complex and torn between the criminal and the law-abiding side of her character. If she were to fall for Keaton... what would happen to her moral side? All her life she has been driven by her ambition to improve herself. Now that her promotion might be just within her reach, falling for a criminal would de-rail her entire life.
One small mention to explain why it is rated at 4.5 stars. I think at the end we needed the extra scene where Keyser is apprehended. It is a bit abrupt to just go directly to the Epilogue.
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I thank the author for sharing a copy with me.
About the Author
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.Connect with CD Reiss:
