"Enthralling and drop dead gasp-worthy."

- CD Reiss, New York Times Bestselling Author

They say that every tragic hero has a fatal flaw, a secret sin, a tiny stitch sewn into his future since birth. And here I am. My sins are no longer secret. My flaws have never been more fatal. And I’ve never been closer to tragedy than I am now.
I am a man who loves, a man whose love demands much in return. I am a king, a king who was foolish enough to build a kingdom on the bones of the past. I am a husband and a lover and a soldier and a father and a president.
And I will survive this.
Long live the king.

Wish I could give this book 10 Stars!

The Arthurian legend or myth is a tragic story of courage, love, and higher aspirations for the development of man.  Having said that, it is full of hope and the dreams of mere humans working to transcend out mistakes and limitations in order to dare to strive to better the lives of the people they serve.

The New Camelot Trilogy is a brilliant modern-day portrayal of the legend dealing with the struggles that are universal no matter what the epoque.  We have the "king" characterized by Ash, pursuing high ideals of improving the human condition and the world around him.  As all heroes, he is flawed and has made his share of mistakes.  Still, he rises above all that and shows the goodness that is intrinsic in his soul.  He loves passionately and with all his heart.  He is loyal and his power comes from deep within him as he attracts and changes all that surrounds him.

Bravo to the author for the imaginative portrayal of this beloved myth!  May we never forget the ideals that are at the core of Camelot.

I am voluntarily reviewing this book.  I thank the author for sharing a copy with me.
