Hailey runs a matchmaker personalized service. Max is her realtor helping her find the right place to expand her business to. They have been doing this search for the last three months and there is definitely some chemistry there, but neither one realizes it. See Hailey is wearing an engagement ring and Max is not about to poach someone else's fiancee. When the mother of one of Hailey's clients assumes Max is her fiancee, they are stuck faking their "relationship". One lie leads to another... well, you need to read this story to enjoy just deep these two end up digging themselves.
As always, Carly Phillips has conjured a wonderful story with endearing characters.
