Leaning on the bleachers, Chris cracked peanuts between his teeth and spit the shells. I hadn’t seen him in days and it seemed like years. Lifelong friends, innocent love crushes, and watching from afar best describes the foundation of Channing and Amber's relationship.  Their friendship extended through tragic times where they comforted each other as well as happy times where as kids, they were inseparable.

Now, as they meet at a crucial time in both their lives, emotions cannot be easily controlled.  Amber is still attracted to Channing and Channing must protect Amber from making a bad decision.

I cannot give you more about the plot because you have to go on this journey with them to fully enjoy the mess they make of things and how they get out of it.  Though sometimes funny and outrageous, the main undercurrent is a definition of what love and commitment really mean.  No only the love we feel as lovers, but the love of friends, family, and others.

Definitely recommended!
