I'm Margaret and I'm a self-published author.

Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.

My last three books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.

My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making life long connections.

Nothing could have prepared Alexa for what was to happen next. If we thought she had been through a lot in The Gift, now is when things get really nasty. Be prepared for some very rough handling but still done with class.

Her life was changed overnight first after her appendicitis, then when she warned a stranger he was about to be assassinated. Now, everywhere she turns, it is impossible to tell who she can trust and who is the enemy. This is a lot for a seventeen-year-old teenager who had lived a peaceful and happy life with her parents. With everyone she holds dear in peril, the only thing she can trust is her intelligence and logical thinking. Even when she feels safe around Jude, she must always remember he was the one who kidnapped her, to begin with.

The Gift and now The Curse are the first books I have read by this author. I am so glad I gave her books a chance! This story had me hooked from the beginning. The mix of a thrilling plotline and endearing characters was the attraction, as well as her writing style.

I wasn't sure what changed my mind about giving London to Bones, but something did.

Now London is officially mine. She's sassy, feisty, and she still tells me off when I have her under my thumb.

I love it.

Now I have a deal with the Barsetti brothers, Josephine is still pining for me, and revenge is heavy on my mind. I'm not sure what to do with London now that I'm not gonna kill her.

But I'm certainly not going to fall in love with her.

Everything about the relationship between London and Crewe has been both titillating and tenuous at best.  Their passion and lust are off the charts but they keep butting heads.  They are both stubborn and decisive.  In the end, you know the one with the most power will win.  Crewe of course!  Until they are able to reach a mutual agreement, their lives will be a see-saw.

The only thing London wishes for is to be free!  She is willing to go to extremes in order to get her freedom as long as no one gets hurt.  She has a plan.  Why not make Crewe fall for her?  Could this be possible?  She knows deep down he is a gentle and loving man.  Could she possibly just tap into that and ask for her freedom?  With all the perils surrounding her ( Bones, Ariel, Dunbar, etc.) how can she feel safe?

I devoured this book in one day!  OMG!  This series is so much more than what I expected!  I love our author's writing style.  She is direct with a gift for painting pictures in our minds with her words.  I cannot wait for the third and final installment to release.
